Temple Row Scoops First Prize
Along with many dozens of other charitable organisations in the town, Temple Row took part in the Citizens Activity Day organised by the Local Council which was held in the Airedale Centre on Friday 19th August.
A poll was held amongst the members of the public who attended the event for the most popular service offered by the organisations involved and Temple Row Centre received the most votes.
A prize of £500 was subsequently awarded by Counsellor Dorothy Clamp at an awards ceremony the following week and was collected by Mike Boothroyd on behalf of the Centre.
The prize money will go towards a planned refurbishment of the much used Temple Diner.
With special thanks to all those who voted for the Centre
